2. Respectful Behaviour
Herzklopfen should be a place where all members feel welcome and safe. Respectful behaviour is therefore not optional — it is a prerequisite for participating in our community.
What we expect from you:
- No harassment: Persistent, repeated or unwanted contact after a "no" is not allowed.
- Kindness: Even if you're not interested, a polite response is always the right choice.
- Respect rejection: A "no" means no — pressure that feels coercive has no place on Herzklopfen.
- No discrimination: Derogatory comments about origin, religion, age, gender, body, sexual orientation or disability will not be tolerated.
- No threats: Any form of intimidation or threats — even indirect ones — will result in an immediate ban.
Remember: behind every profile is a real person with real feelings. Treat others the way you'd like to be treated yourself.
3. Profile Guidelines
Your profile is your calling card on Herzklopfen. So that all members can get an honest impression of each other, the following rules apply to profiles:
- Real photos: Only use current photos of yourself. Photos of other people, AI-generated images or heavily edited photos are not allowed.
- Truthful information: Your age, first name and all other profile details must be accurate.
- No explicit material: Profile photos or text with sexually explicit content are not permitted.
- No advertising: Your profile may not be used for commercial purposes — no links to external services, no product promotion.
- No fake profiles: Creating a profile in the name of another person or a fictitious identity is strictly prohibited.
Profiles that violate these guidelines will be removed without notice. If you spot a suspicious profile, please report it using our report feature.
4. Messages and Communication
The messaging feature on Herzklopfen is designed to enable genuine, sincere exchange. For this to work for everyone, the following rules apply:
- No unsolicited explicit messages: Sending explicit or offensive messages without consent is prohibited and will result in an immediate ban upon report.
- No spam: Mass-sending identical or very similar messages to many members is not allowed.
- Be authentic: Do not use copy-pasted template texts or automated systems to send messages.
- No requests for money: You may never ask for money, gift cards or financial support. Such requests are a sign of fraud and will be reported to authorities.
- Don't push for external contact: Do not pressure other members to leave the platform early and communicate via external channels.
Be patient and authentic. The best connections come when you take the time to truly get to know the other person.
5. Reporting and Moderation
Your contribution is essential to keeping Herzklopfen a safe and welcoming place. If you notice behaviour or content that violates our guidelines, please report it to us.
How to report a profile or behaviour:
- Open the relevant profile and click "Report profile".
- Select the appropriate reason from the list.
- Briefly describe the incident in your own words.
- Submit the report — your identity will remain anonymous.
Alternatively, you can use our report page.
What happens after a report:
- All reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.
- For clear violations we take immediate action, even without a warning.
- For less clear-cut cases we review the matter carefully before acting.
- You will generally receive feedback when a report has led to action being taken.
False reports filed deliberately to harm members are themselves treated as a violation.
6. Consequences for Violations
We take violations of our Community Guidelines seriously. The severity of the action depends on the nature and gravity of the violation:

Warning
First minor violation
For minor or first-time violations you will receive an official warning by email explaining the violation and asking you to change your behaviour.

Temp. ban
Repeated or more serious violations
For repeated violations or more serious individual cases your account will be suspended for a period of 7 to 30 days. During this time you will not be able to access the platform.

Perm. ban
Serious violations or repeat offenders
For particularly serious violations (e.g. fraud, harassment, distributing illegal content) or repeated violations after a temporary ban, your account will be permanently suspended. Re-registration is not permitted in such cases.
In cases that may be criminal in nature (e.g. fraud, threats, distributing illegal content), we reserve the right to notify the competent law enforcement authorities and share relevant data.
